HI! I’m Periclis, but everyone calls me Perry. I’m the Senior Property Manager at GHE and I would describe myself as the motivator of the team.

I have lived in South London for almost 28 years, but I have recently moved in with my partner in East London. I just love London and couldn’t see myself living anywhere else for now! The area is full of coffee shops, food places, nice walks and easy links to the city which is perfect for me.

Before starting at GHE, I studied Team Business Entrepreneurship at UWE. Very different from Property Management, but after starting my property journey through touting for a company in Canary Wharf, the estate agency life found me.

I started working at GHE by managing their social media pages and then switched to working in other roles during my summers whilst I was at Uni. From there, our relationship blossomed into a full-time position after graduating.

Although I spend my summers working, I really love to travel. Exploring different places, delving into new cultures and seeing all the different walks of life is one of my passions. I am also a huge foodie, so trying different cuisines is usually the top of my hit list when visiting other countries. Some of the best food I’ve had was in Copenhagen (but the real winner is Greek-Cypriot cuisine – I have to stay true to my roots!)

It is difficult to pinpoint one challenge I’ve faced as a property manager, as you are usually faced with many issues on a daily basis which vary in severity. Regardless of the problem, the one thing I always prioritise is keeping a clear line of communication and updating clients as much as possible. Property managers and agents get a lot of stick for a lack of communication and not understanding that tenants and landlords just want to know something is being done to resolve their issues. I always bear this in mind, so I make sure I keep clear communication channels. As long as I have done my part to the best of my ability, I am a happy man.

I’d like to think that my way of working represents me well as an individual. I like to be personable and get to know tenants and landlords so that they know the person on the other end of their emails and calls truly cares about what is going on and is doing their best to get it sorted.

As well as travelling outside of work, I am big into video games, collecting trading cards and general geeky things! I am also a big football fan and support Spurs (some may say this is unlucky…). As a person, I am caring, understanding and always willing to go above and beyond for the people I care about – something my older brother Anthony has instilled in me. Fun fact – he also works at GHE and he has greatly helped me not just in my career but in my development as an individual too.

I hope that gives you a better insight into who I am as a person and as a Property Manager, and I hope we can work together soon.
